A somewhat watchable movie about a bereaved couple who move into a house with a dark past. Engaging and sympathetic characters keep the film mostly entertaining from start to finish, but the movie fails to be scary or creepy. It’s more like dark (and bloody) fantasy than horror. But a fantasy or horror movie, no matter how absurd the premise, needs to follow an internal logic. In “We Are Still Here,” the logic is either very inconsistent or muddled, leaving the audience more confused than creeped-out at the end.
