One of the best superhero movies ever is this straight-to-video 81-minute DC movie. The Flash unexplainably finds himself in the different reality of an Earth undergoing a massive superhero war. Flash, Batman and Superman have historically been the three best superheroes in the DC Universe, and this one puts all of them together as Flash seeks help to figure things out. As usual, Batman steals the show, but this alternate universe presents an alcoholic, brutal Batman who differs substantially from the Batman we’re familiar with but yet remains very true to his essence. Nevertheless, the Flash holds his own as an engaging superhero. Great characterizations across the board, with one of the greatest stories ever to be produced from the canons of DC.
