Concept: A survivalist training camp has to undergo true survival when things don’t go as planned.

    • A spiffy little thriller that’s less than an hour and a half long but feels just right timing-wise, sprinting along without going too fast.
    • This Netflix movie reflects a formula that Netflix seems to be following with its content lately—put together a bunch of interesting characters and then throw them into a crazy situation in which many of them can and do die.
    • To give the movie additional credit, it did surprise and keep me in suspense throughout much of the film.
    • The movie also made the characters feel like full characters rather than cut-out figures.
    • Viewed on an Optoma HD28DSE projector, 92” screen, Roku 3. Back using the Roku 3, which seems to give me better results than my Roku 4 or Amazon Cube when it comes to my HD non-4K projector. It movie looked good but soft, rather skimpy on the detail one would expect from the landscapes of trees and mountains that were presented.
    • Not for kids
